Last "on my way to Hoover" post

Bizarre to watch while I sipped my coffee.

Temperature reached 101.4 today. Whew. But I made it safe and sound.

Now I am studying maps because major flooding is predicted in Kansas -- 8 inches or more of rain Sunday/Monday right on my planned route.

My present plan is to head west to Amarillo, the turn north. I'll see the weather reports later and will make my best guess before bed.

Now I am off to Glenn Goldstein's favorite BBQ, full moon. ...
