We did 316 miles today, bringing the total since Florida to more than 2,500. We are definitely not in Kansas anymore, and Toto isn't with us either.
The lower speeds were good on gas mileage, but the off pavement power needed less so, so we got 44.4 mpg for the day.
The throttle position was an average of 13%. That (which I think is largely due to the off-road travel) is a stark contrast to only 3% yesterday.
Brake usage was nominal, maybe surprisingly low, but we mostly used 2nd and 3rd off road, so the engine did a lot of the work.
Finally, temps were great, low of 65 and a high of 85.
Tomorrow we head to Targhee with a stop in Jackson.
